Sleeping in my clothes

Well, well I wish i had more time to write here but truth is half the time I sleep in my clothes because I am too tired to remove them. By the time I make it into the bedroom I just collapse on the bed and literally 10 seconds later I am gone to a better place. Whah Whah I know. I really do like life busy though. I have been really slammed at work. We are in the process of two large remodels and the complete interior of a new close to million dollar home. Not to mention all the little annoying design jobs done as favours to people. I Love it but it can be stressful. I am ready to flip another house....Now those are fun!
Well as most you know my little brother Dan plays ball for the Yankees. He has been doing well and we have been hearing all kinds of good things. Hoping hoping that he will get called up and get his first start before they change stadiums. He is getting married NOv.15. His wedding is formal...ya know...one of those sit down dinners with all the courses! Floor length gowns and suits/tuxes a must. They have hired a well known band...Journey... to play at the reception. Just kidding its not journey but it really is a good band! I am excited though. Should be alot of fun despite the fact of the pain I will endure while wedging my body into a torcher devise for 8 hours.
Chloe and Corban start dance next week 2 times a week during the month of June. I was a little reluctant on letting Corban take but he is definately all boy and I guess he wants to learn some steps to impress the ladies. I dont know what he is going to think about the shiny tap shoes though. They dont offer tee ball until the age of 5 and I am starting him in Judo in the fall so he needed something this summer. Well, we will see how it goes . The first time he does a plie' for jerry I am sure we will run into issues. He is supposed to be taking hip hop and the sort!
I have been experiencing some interesting things with Corban recentley. He is normally a pretty well behaved child but lately when he gets upset he screams out "I hate Jesus" or "I love the Devil". I have tried spanking him, time outs, talking, threatening, taking away things but he still keeps doing it. It is so embarrassing, especially when he does it while you are telling someone about how great your church is. Ohyeah he did that. I guess i wasnt paying enough attention to him so he was going to repay me. I f you dont think I wore him flat out as soon as we were back in the car you are crazy. Anyway, I really hope this is just another faze he is going through; he randomly tells me he loves jesus and hates the devil tooo...when he is loving up to me.
Chloe is pretty easy for the most part. I hear her praying in her room all the time. She is a little prayer warrior. She is so full of life and drama. She is always wanting to dress risque though. She tries to tie her shirt up and swing her hips around. I try to explain to her the trashiness of all of this but she replies with, Well the bratz girls do it and they're so cute" or she will mention one of her church friends, saying that they do it and its okay. I am like, "Why in the sam hill would you want to be like them?" Look what you've got girl. Everything that they dont have and will wish they had later.
Okay RAndom thing I have seen this week. Coming out of Walmart (of course) I notice a very large man on a small mountain bicycle. I think to myself, "Wow that guy is going really fast considering how large he is." Then I notice that his legs are not moving so my eyes proceed backwards where I notice the tiny motor attached to the back wheel. He has rigged up his own little motor bike. It was great!
Okay another bike story....My friend mandi used to live arkansas and I swear she could write a book on the funny things she happened upon. She was at a bbq restaurant with her hubbs and friends and they noticed a man sitting by himself in the corner booth. He was completely decked out in all the high dollar leather Harley Davidson bike wear. The vest, chaps boots the whole shin dig. He had a expensive helmet resting beside him on the table. Well since mandis bunch are big motorcyle people they were all trying to figure out what kind of big Harley he drove. they all had bets going. Luckily he left the same time they did so they followed him to the parking lot and watched him strut to his bike throw his leg over it like it was a beast and pedal off!!! HA HA IT was one of those harley bicycles. The guy was serious too. Thats what makes it even funnier. Only in Arkansas.

I will leave you to that....

much ado bout nothing

I am sitting once again in my wonderful recliner waiting for Jerry to put Scarlett to sleep so we can watch a movie. I hear him playing his guitar now. Scarlett must be giving him fits. Chloe' and Corban are in their room watching a video of the great Tammy McCutchen performing. Thank you mom for the entertainment! I have been cleaning and organizing all day. I somehow accumulate a ton stuff so every once in a while I have to go through everything and throw and give away. Chloe' is so dramatic. Last night she figured out that she could listen to hannah montana and High school musical performances on the internet. She was freaking out! She kept running into the living room where we were having a jewelry party and screaming, Ya'll have got to come see this! Everyone! Get in this room! You will not believe this! This is my favorite song!! It was so funny. I really need to get her enrolled in dance. She would enjoy it, I'm sure. Corban is running fever. He is sick so much it seems. Bless his heart. Scarlett is starting to say a ton of words. Her favorites are: snack, drink, byebye, phone, no, yes and baby. She is so cute. I love her personality. She minds so much better than the other two. Chloe' is reading really well. I am so proud of her. Funny story. A couple of weeks ago. A lady walked into our store in Blanchard dressed to the hilt in blanchard wear. Sweat pants, large t-shirt and bed head. She browses for a minute stopping to look and pick up a silk cord cover thats all bunched up. She says, "Oh, how cute! I love this scrunchie! If I had long hair I would so buy this cute scrunchie!" Rachel and I did not have the heart to tell her that it was a cord cover. Scrunchie! Do people still wear those. Can you buy them still? Ughhh? They are especially bad when they are white and dirty. We have all kinds of intersting things happen at the shopl For instance. About 6 weeks ago a young man walked in with a dress on. A tight , very revealing black dress, with combat boots and and black cowboy hat. Mind you, This is Blanchard, USA. Old school. A older woman in conversation told us when we first opened that, "Well you know now the blacks have their own place where they bury their dead. We dont share the graveyard." Jessica, my boss, and I about beat her down right then and there. I cant believe people still think like that. Enough for the night.

I should be sleeping

12:08. Should be sleeping in my nice warm bed but instead I am stretched out in my wonderful leather recliner with no blanket so my feet are frozen ...blogging...at that. I havent been able to sleep much lately due to my mind going 90mph. I really do alot. I work part time for an interior designor, helping with her store and doing remodels and house flips. I also chart out songs and teach music to my fantastic choir from church. I lead p&w every other wed. night. Huge Passion of Mine! 3 kids. Chloe' 5, Corban 4, and Scarlett Jude 1. They keep me hopping! I'm excited about this weekend....Geron Davis is going to be at our church. I really anxious to hear him sing. He is such an amazing writer. I would love to sit under him and learn learn learn. Love to all!
