much ado bout nothing
I am sitting once again in my wonderful recliner waiting for Jerry to put Scarlett to sleep so we can watch a movie. I hear him playing his guitar now. Scarlett must be giving him fits. Chloe' and Corban are in their room watching a video of the great Tammy McCutchen performing. Thank you mom for the entertainment! I have been cleaning and organizing all day. I somehow accumulate a ton stuff so every once in a while I have to go through everything and throw and give away. Chloe' is so dramatic. Last night she figured out that she could listen to hannah montana and High school musical performances on the internet. She was freaking out! She kept running into the living room where we were having a jewelry party and screaming, Ya'll have got to come see this! Everyone! Get in this room! You will not believe this! This is my favorite song!! It was so funny. I really need to get her enrolled in dance. She would enjoy it, I'm sure. Corban is running fever. He is sick so much it seems. Bless his heart. Scarlett is starting to say a ton of words. Her favorites are: snack, drink, byebye, phone, no, yes and baby. She is so cute. I love her personality. She minds so much better than the other two. Chloe' is reading really well. I am so proud of her. Funny story. A couple of weeks ago. A lady walked into our store in Blanchard dressed to the hilt in blanchard wear. Sweat pants, large t-shirt and bed head. She browses for a minute stopping to look and pick up a silk cord cover thats all bunched up. She says, "Oh, how cute! I love this scrunchie! If I had long hair I would so buy this cute scrunchie!" Rachel and I did not have the heart to tell her that it was a cord cover. Scrunchie! Do people still wear those. Can you buy them still? Ughhh? They are especially bad when they are white and dirty. We have all kinds of intersting things happen at the shopl For instance. About 6 weeks ago a young man walked in with a dress on. A tight , very revealing black dress, with combat boots and and black cowboy hat. Mind you, This is Blanchard, USA. Old school. A older woman in conversation told us when we first opened that, "Well you know now the blacks have their own place where they bury their dead. We dont share the graveyard." Jessica, my boss, and I about beat her down right then and there. I cant believe people still think like that. Enough for the night.
